More than 65 such plants are currently working in Chennai alone. Mostly it is fed with bio-wastes generated in houses (Peeled portions of vegetables, Water waste generated by cleaning grinder, food waste, etc., ). If these plants get fed with cow dung, we get to see amazing results. A good amount of Methane production happens and the water waste that comes out of these plants acts as an excellent manure composite for plants & trees. Bio-Gas Plants occupy very less space, it is completely odorless, relatively very cheap, Easy Installation procedure and can be made highly efficient.
